Kiwi is a question and answer social network. The newly introduced topics feature challenged us to rethink how these questions were created, displayed and answered. Likewise, the answers had to be received by the right people, on the right screen. By including topics in each process of the application, from content creation to the browsing experience, we made it feel more personal.

The web platform brings new possibilities but also new challenges. Having a larger screen to work with means more space for content display. The left bar navigation increases user activity as it allows to keep up with your followings and browse new content. The right side navigation displays top questions, improving search engine optimization. And the top navigation is more personal, it’s your feed, your profile and a call to action button to ask your questions.
