Exploring game design.
As a gamer, I have always wanted to build a video game myself. Inspired by popular tower defense games such as the Kingdom Rush series, Plants VS Zombies and Bloons TD, I wanted to bring my own twist on the genre. Its focus wants to be on resource management, spell casting and terrain navigation. Build passive crystals to generate mana for spells but also build offensive crystals to defend agaisnt enemies. As you progress, the map gets larger, keeping you on your toes. The biggest difficulty is balancing the game and make it fun to play. Adding new spells, enemies and towers means having to recalculate everything else accordingly. Crystalmode is still a work in progress.
